Beyonce Knowles has walked away with the top music honours at the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Awards in Los Angeles.
Beyonce Knowles kicked off the 40th annual ceremony on Thursday (12Feb09) with a rousing performance of her new track, Halo, before picking up the award for Outstanding Female Artist.
