Celina Jaitley is the new Rani Mukerji. Before Rani kills us, we must clarify that Celina now is what Rani used to be ages ago — c/o Govinda.
The reasoning is simple. The last time Chi Chi went around recommending a heroine it was Rani; it’s action replay time now with Celina being given the royal treatment.
And postPartner, what Govinda wants Govinda gets. He wanted director Tigmanshu Dhulia (Haasil) to cast Celina as the stripper opposite him in his new film King Con. And so Celina it was.
The two reportedly had a “great time” in the first schedule of the film in London. And we aren’t talking about time on the sets — for they hardly spent time there! The official version is that the weather was so bad that they could not shoot (giving Govinda and Celina plenty of free time). But our birdie tells us that Govinda would play the ‘king con’ to perfection, stopping the shoot on the slightest pretext — even blaming “negative vibes” to demand that a bus in a sequence be coloured brown! — whenever he wanted to retreat behind closed doors with Celina.
Now, the girl who spent her college years on Wood Street in Calcutta is also doing Aditya Datt’s (Aashiq Banaya Apne) film, opposite Govinda of course.
Hmmm... ab yeh na kehna humne bataya nahin!
